ABOUT

Prof. Jung-Eun Chu

is an atmospheric and climate scientist. Her research topics include extreme weather events such as tropical cyclones and tornadoes, high-resolution earth system modeling, monsoon dynamics, and atmospheric aerosols.

She is particularly interested in advancing the scientific understanding of the impact of climate change, as well as employing cutting-edge methodologies to better translate state-of-the-art science for climate change adaptation.
